Our History

It all started over 25 years ago in a garage where the purified water, from a treatment plant in Edmonton, and a few boxes of coffee stayed. Our founders, Annette Althouse and Peter Austin, decided to move the contents of the garage to a bus depot and opened their doors to Greyhound Freight. Thus Tundra Transfer was born! People came to pick up their packages and were introduced to our signature purified water and the wonderful world of divine high quality coffee. While in the beginning, our town only need about 40 bottles of water to last 6 weeks. Today, Tundra Transfer manufactures 300 and sometimes more to ensure Yellowknife always has access to pure drinking water. As the world of coffee changes, we are constantly bringing in new coffees to try. Just ask about what’s new the next time you are in!
